Club Night 27 March 2019

March meeting 2019 – Guest Speaker

The next Johnsonville Camera Club meeting at 7:00 pm on Wednesday 27th March at the Johnsonville Community Centre will feature Photographer Richard Young as our guest speaker.

Richard is a full-time landscape and wildlife photographer based in Wellington. He teaches photography through his company New Zealand Photography Workshops and acts as a guide running photography tours.

Richard is also an award-winning photographer having won the ‘Best Landscape Photograph’ at the Banff Mountain Photography Competition. He has also received awards at The International Landscape Photographer of the Year, The Fine Art Photography Awards and The International Photography Awards.

Richard works from his Wellington Gallery and exhibits around the world.

This promises to be an interesting presentation, please set aside some time to come along and support the JCC and listen to Richard Young speak.

Non-members are welcome to hear Richard’s presentation- a gold coin contribution would be appreciated to help with supper and room hire costs.

A fresh look at composition

A 2 part workshop – Part 1 on Wednesday 25 April at 7pm Johnsonville Community Centre Broderick Road.  Guests are welcome as this is part of our Club night for April.

Part 2 on 12 May from 1 to 5pm.  Members of the Johnsonville Camera Club – no entry fee.  Non-members a cash fee payable at the door of $10.

Leading the session is Craig Phillips, LPSNZ, who will share some thoughts gathered from courses led by Jackie Ranken and Mike Langford, Sally Mason, Freeman Patterson, Jordan O’Keefe, and David DuChemin.
